Title: The Traveler in the Well
It was a foggy morning, and a thick mist clung to everything, muffling sounds. As I walked near the old woods, a strange noise reached my ears – a faint, muffled cry. Curiosity piqued, I walked towards the sound, pushing through the dense fog until I found an old, disused well. Peering inside, I heard voices – clear now – calling for help from the darkness below. My heart pounded. I immediately called for help, shouting to alert anyone nearby. Soon, neighbors arrived, and we managed to lower a rope. To our relief, a lost traveler, who had fallen in the night, was carefully pulled out. He was cold and shaken but otherwise unharmed. Feeling immense relief, we returned home safely, grateful that we had been able to help.
