Essay: A Visit to the Zoo
CBSE Students
(Approx. 200–250 words)

Last Sunday, our school organized a trip to the National Zoological Park. All of us were very excited as we boarded the school bus. It was a bright and sunny morning, perfect for an outing.

When we reached the zoo, we saw a large crowd at the entrance. After getting our tickets, we entered the zoo and were amazed to see different animals and birds. First, we saw a big cage of parrots, peacocks, and other colorful birds. They were chirping and flying around happily.

Next, we saw wild animals like lions, tigers, leopards, and bears in their enclosures. We were thrilled but also a little scared to see them up close. The lion’s roar echoed throughout the zoo. Then we visited the section with elephants and deer. The elephants were playing with water and looked very friendly.

We also saw reptiles like snakes and crocodiles. Some of them were sleeping while others moved slowly. The most interesting part was watching the monkeys jump from branch to branch, making funny faces and entertaining everyone.

The zoo visit was both fun and educational. We learned about different animals, their habits, and how they are taken care of. It also made us realize the importance of protecting wildlife.

We returned to school in the evening, tired but happy. It was truly a memorable day.
