✏️ 1. What is Editing and Omission?
These are grammar exercises in CBSE Class 10 English that check your grammar accuracy and observation skills.
🟩 A. EDITING (त्रुटि सुधार)
🔹 Meaning:
In Editing, you are given a paragraph with grammatical mistakes (errors in tense, article, preposition, spelling, verb form, etc.).
You must find the error and write the correct word.
📘 Format:

🧠 Steps to Solve:
- Read the whole passage once – understand the meaning.
- Check grammar errors – like:
- Tense
- Subject–verb agreement
- Articles (a, an, the)

- Wrong word form (is → are, was → were, etc.)
- Correct each error one by one.

🟩 B. OMISSION (लोप / छोड़ा हुआ शब्द)
🔹 Meaning:
In Omission, one word is missing in each line.
You must find where the word is missing and write the missing word.

- Read the sentence carefully.
- Check grammar connection – where a word is missing (article, preposition, helping verb, etc.)
- Write:
