The Lost Child is a story about a small boy who goes to a spring fair with his parents. On the way, he gets attracted to many thingsтАФ toys, sweets, balloons, a snake charmer, and a roundabout. His parents do not buy these things for him.
While watching the roundabout, he gets separated from his parents. At first, he was excited about toys and sweets, but after getting lost, he wants only one thing тАФ his mother and father.
A kind man tries to comfort him by offering sweets, balloons, flowers, and a ride, but the child refuses everything. He keeps crying only for his parents.
