📘 Chapter The Invention of Vita-Wonk

The Invention of Vita-Wonk is a funny and imaginative story.

Mr Willy Wonka invents Wonka-Vite, a medicine that makes people younger. But it is too powerful. Some people become so young that their age becomes minus, and they disappear.

To solve this problem, Mr Wonka decides to invent something that will make people older. He asks himself two questions:

What is the oldest thing in the world?
What lives the longest?

He discovers that the Bristlecone Pine tree lives for more than 4000 years. Then he travels all over the world collecting small items from very old living things like animals, birds, trees, and insects.

After mixing and boiling these ingredients, Mr Wonka makes a new invention called Vita-Wonk. He tests it on a young Oompa-Loompa. After drinking four drops, the Oompa-Loompa suddenly becomes 75 years old.

The invention is successful and very amusing.
