The dancers wear colourful clothes and use bells on their feet. The dance tells stories through expressions and steps. Kathak shows the rich culture of India and teaches us about our traditions and history in an interesting way.

ii. Why did the baby bird think its first world was small, round and blue?
Answer: The baby bird lived inside its egg. From inside, the shell looked small, round, and blue, so it thought that was the whole world before it came out.
iii. What is the Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat programme all about?
Answer: This programme aims to promote unity in diversity in India. It helps people learn about different states, cultures, languages, and traditions and feel proud of being Indian.
iv. What songs does the child hear when flying atop the kite?
